Dear Members:
On a sad note, last night I received calls from friends of Ron Farina,
advising me of his passing.
They requested that I let the GRCI membership know.
Ron has been a member of GRCI for decades, and also a past President many
years ago.
He loved the club, and the many friends he made, especially in field work.
Ron was 78 years old, and did have some health issues, but remained
very
independent, and committed to staying in touch with GRCI.
He started to attend some GRCI meetings, with the kind help of Nancy
Einwich.
Ron's last meeting was the Christmas Party, where he was presented with a
special award
for his contributions to the golden retriever breed, and his past work as
President of GRCI.
